Bento Grenache (6pk)
Region: McLaren Vale Grape Variety: Grenache Alcohol: 14.5% 6 Pack
Summary: Inspired by the fast-paced, flavour-packed world of Asian dining, Bento is designed for those lost wine occasions: the BYOs, the shared dishes, the street-food feasts, the noise, the heat, the spontaneity. Here to reclaim wine’s place at the modern dining table, Bento is designed for the energy and chaos of (real-life/casual) dining, delivering a range of vibrant, delicious wines that everyone will love. Winemaking: Harvested from select warmer pockets within Marlborough where Grenache can ripen fully, fruit is picked late in the season to develop intensity and natural sweetness. Fermentation occurs in small fermenters with a mix of whole berries and whole bunches to enhance aromatic lift and texture. Gentle maceration preserves delicate fruit characters while building a light tannin structure. Vintage 2025: The 2025 vintage was marked by an early start due to warm, dry conditions. Budburst and flowering occurred ahead of schedule, with even fruit set. Consistently warm weather produced smaller berries with outstanding concentration, defining the vintage’s quality. Tasting Note: A fragrant, lighter-styled Grenache showing lifted red florals, wild raspberries and hints of white pepper. The palate is juicy and fresh with soft red cherry, pomegranate, and subtle spice. Silky tannins and bright acidity deliver a graceful finish—vibrant, elegant and beautifully suited to Marlborough’s modern, cool-climate approach to red winemaking.

Little Giant 'Little Batch' Grenache Tempranillo (6pk)
More about Little Giant Find a stockist Grape Variety: Grenache 75%, Tempranillo 25%
Region: Barossa Valley
Winemaker: Nicholas Crampton Closure: Screwcap Alcohol: 14.5% Pack Size: 6 Bottle Pack
Summary: The southern hairy-nose wombat is smaller than other wombats but is stocky, robust and the proud state emblem of South Australia. Like the might of the little wombat, Little Giant is crafted from premium regional South Australian fruit from established vineyards that deliver character and interest well above their size and weight. Hand-crafted and made with minimal additions and preservatives, these are wines made of the vineyard. The grapes are picked at optimal ripeness, minimally handled in the winery and fruit vibrancy is not hidden by non-essential artefact. Seeking first and foremost fruit expression, drinkability and to be a great accompaniment to food. Don’t let the size fool you, these are wines you’ll want to drink. Winemaking: The Grenache is a blend of two vineyards, one from Rowland Flat and the other from Vine Vale. Rowland Flat provides the structure, Vine Vale on sands provides the aromatics. The Tempranillo is sourced from Light Pass from a 25-year-old vineyard. All of the wine was matured in large oak barrels 500 litre capacity for 15 months prior to being blended and bottled. Vintage 2022: In 2022 the Barossa experienced outstanding growing conditions. Harvest started approximately 2 weeks later than the past 10 year average with Shiraz being picked mid to late March. A wet spring provided optimal soil moisture throughout the harvest months, spring storms resulted in lower than usual fruit set and although yields were lower the quality was high. Mild summer temperatures facilitated a long and slow ripening period which resulted in optimum colour development and balance between fruit flavour and tannin. Tasting Note: Fruit forward juicy grenache is complemented by the distinctive tannins of Tempranillo making for a very approachable blend. The two varieties work seamlessly together, the Grenache provides spice and aromatic lift, while the Tempranillo ensures savoury characters and textural complexity to the palate. More about Little Giant Find a stockist Grape Variety: 100% Grenache
Region: McLaren Vale
Winemaker: Cory Ryan & Mike Brown Closure: Cork Alcohol: 14.5% Pack Size: 6 Bottle Pack Summary: The southern hairy-nose wombat is smaller than other wombats but is stocky, robust and the proud state emblem of South Australia. Like the might of the little wombat, Little Giant is crafted from premium regional South Australian fruit from established vineyards that deliver character and interest well above their size and weight. Little Giant gets a natural and organic makeover thanks to some authentic lo-fi winemaking. The wines are the result of a collaboration between McLaren Vale winemaker Mike Brown and Corey Ryan of Little Giant – the wines are exclusively sourced from a single estate vineyard in McLaren Vale. These are fresh, immediately drinkable, deliciously food friendly wines that are the essence of one of South Australia’s favourite wine regions.
Winemaking: Sourced from a single site vineyard in McLaren Vale that is both organic and biodynamic. Picked in the cool of the morning to retain freshness, the fruit is de-stemming and fermented in stainless steel tank. The wine then spent time in used large format French and American oak barrels to build structure whilst softening the palate and develop flavour complexity without overt extraction of oak characters.
Vintage 2021: After a forgettable 2020 winemakers in McLaren Vale were buoyed by what can only be described as a dream vintage. The great season was due to a wet winter, allowing the vines to grow a good canopy followed by a cool, dry summer which ensured even ripening. The results saw not just great quality fruit but yields were up too. A great vintage for the Vale.
Tasting Note: Light garnet in colour, quite a pale and translucent red hinting at lighter bodied. Captivating aromatics that capture vibrant and jubey raspberry jam with just a hint of savoury complexity and gentle earthiness. Medium weighted palate reminiscent of Pinot Noir with a good core of concentrated red fruit, some subtle spice and cleansing acidity on the finish.

Little Giant Grenache (6pk)
More about Little Giant Find a stockist Grape Variety: 100% Grenache
Region: McLaren Vale Winemaker: Corey Ryan & Jim Zerella Closure: Screwcap Alcohol: 14.5% Pack Size: 6 Bottle Pack Summary: The southern hairy-nose wombat is smaller than other wombats but is stocky, robust and the proud state emblem of South Australia. Winemaking: Little Giant Grenache was crafted from a combination of older and younger vine Grenache vineyards within Seaview and Willunga. Small 3-5 tonne batches of high quality hand-picked fruit were fermented separately in open top fermenters. Minimal daily plunging ensued to gently build colour and the tannin profile without over extraction before being transferred partially to older oak and the remainder to stainless steel tank for maturation prior to blending and bottling. Vintage 2024: The 2024 vintage in McLaren Vale began with nearly double the average June rainfall, setting up healthy soil moisture ahead of a dry, warm start to the season. A mild winter and spring led to early flowering, though significant rain in November and December required careful vineyard management. The dry harvest period provided ideal ripening conditions, with strong varietal expression across all red varieties. Tasting Note: The Little Giant Grenache is vibrant and juicy, bursting with red cherry, raspberry, and hints of wild strawberry. Subtle notes of spice, dried herbs, and earthy undertones add complexity to the plush, medium-bodied palate. Fine tannins and bright acidity carry through to a smooth, lingering finish.
