Bare Winemakers Limestone Coast Pinot Noir (12pk)
More about Bare Winemakers Find a stockist Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Region: Limestone Coast Winemaker: Antoine Schurr Closure: Screwcap Alcohol: 13.5% Pack Size: 12 Bottle Pack Summary: Bare, in its most fundamental, means laid out for all to see. That’s the joy of these three wines from three celebrated winemakers in three distinct regions. The Bare Winemakers celebrates wines made in a ‘less is more’ fashion by artisan winemakers from celebrated South Australian regions including the McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills’ and the Limestone Coast. Vineyards: Sourced from an establshed vineyard in the Limestone Coast known for it’s distinctive Pinot Noir fruit. Winemaking: 550 cases made single parcel from an established vineyard. Fermented in three tonne open top fermenters with whole bunch influence and hand plunged twice daily. Partially matured in seasoned small format French oak before bottling with minimal S02. Vintage 2021: If 2020 was all about the heat, then 2021 will be remembered as the wet season. In many parts of Australia, it was unseasonably wet in winter but not at critical times to do damage nor impact the resultant ripeness of the grapes. A cool and dry summer meant even ripening was achieved between dry and rainy spells and the ensuing fruit quality was excellent and for once yields were up making for a bumper harvest in 2021. Tasting Note: Dark red in colour with classic Pinot characters to the fore displaying cherry, dark berry and a varietal savoury edge. The wine is supple and long with a good deal of concentration balanced by a clean acidity. Drinking well upon release and will cellar well. Pair with Porchetta with baby lentils. Sourcing: The vineyards of the Aude Valley are planted in the foothills of the Pyrenees, alongside the river that flows down to join the Canal du Midi at Carcassonne. Fuzzy Bare Fuzzy Bare Pinot Noir Piquette (6pk)
Region: Australia Grape Variety: Pinot Noir Winemaker: Aaron Mercer Alcohol: 4.0%
Summary: Organically grown, no additives, vegan and moderate in alcohol 'Fuzzy Bare' is the new kid on the block- fizzy, fun and ready to drink! Despite being the newest hottest kid on the block, piquette dates to ancient Greek and Roman times. It enjoyed a renaissance in the 19th century when phylloxera decimated French vineyards, making grapes so scarce every ounce of the precious fruit was used. Made from adding water to bare pressed grape skins and left to ferment, this low-alcohol, refreshing, and slightly fizzy drink Was named ‘piquette’ (prickle) and became the standard for vineyard workers at the lunch table. Winemaking: Made using the left over skins that have been pressed off from Slinky Bare and CowPunk wines. Water is added to the press where it is left for 12 hours to interact with the skins. The solution is then pressed to tank and the residual sugar fermented out to dryness Tasting Note: Cherry cola aromatics, Cranberry and Mulberry fruit jump out of the glass. The palate is vibrant with rich raspberries and blackcurrants. There is a slight phenolic chalkiness that provides structure and a tight acidity carries the fruit for a long, crisp finish. A perfect thirst quenching light red that is naturally higher in refreshment and lower in alcohol! The below information is available for stockists of this product. Red Hut Pinot Noir (6pk)
Region: Central Otago | Lowburn Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir Winemaker: Corey Ryan and Mike Farrugia Alcohol: 13.8% Summary: Red Hut is a collaboration between longtime friends and wine professionals Corey Ryan and Mike Farrugia, inspired by New Zealand’s iconic backcountry huts that offer shelter and connection. Drawing on deep industry ties, they source small parcels from standout subregions to craft contemporary wines with authenticity and character wines that capture the real New Zealand, both in the glass and in the heart. Winemaking: Fruit from a single Lowburn vineyard was hand-harvested, destemmed with 20% whole bunches, and cold-soaked before natural fermentation. The must was hand-plunged twice daily for 15 days, followed by a five-day post-ferment soak for enhanced color and structure. The wine matured for 12 months in French oak barriques (25% new) and was bottled unfiltered to maintain its character. Vintage 2024: The 2024 growing season in Lowburn combined dry warmth, early fruit set, and a long ripening period to produce expressive Pinot Noir. Strong flowering and average-to-above yields thrived under dry El Niño conditions, followed by a mostly rain-free summer with timely rainfall easing vine stress. Cool autumn nights slowed ripening, enhancing flavour concentration, acidity, and elegance. The resulting Pinot Noir features ripe cherry and bramble fruit, fine tannins, and a distinctive mineral texture. Tasting Note: The wine displays lifted aromas of wild cherry, redcurrant, dried thyme, rose petal, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, vibrant red fruit is framed by fine tannins, savoury notes, and earthy complexity from whole bunches. Cold soaking and extended maceration add colour depth and a silky texture, while 12 months in French oak provide structure and finesse.

Take It To The Grave Pinot Noir (6pk)
More about Take It To The Grave Find a stockist Region: Limestone Coast Summary: Take it to the Grave is a joint venture between Nicholas Crampton and South Australian wine grower Jim Zerella created to deliver interesting and rewarding wines whilst challenging a few established rules and preconceptions. The Take it to the Grave Pinot Noir takes on one of the wine world’s most entrenched rules – that it is impossible to make high quality, varietally expressive but affordable Pinot Noir. Winemaking: Sourced from a number of vineyards within the Adelaide Hills across a number of micro climates – providing a good blend of expressive fruit, structure and high note aromatics. Primarily machine picked before vinification in a combination of small and large open fermenters. The majority of the blend is matured in stainless steel with a component aged in new and one year old French oak. Vintage 2021: The first of the consecutive La Nina seasons brought much welcomed rain over the winter and spring months, filling up dehydrated soil profiles after consecutive years of drought. The season continued in providing a mild spring and summer. The cooler than average weather during harvest resulted in a longer ripening period which facilitated fragrant and elegant fruits in red wines and a seamless acid and tannin balance. Tasting Note: Medium in colour with that atypical Pinot Noir nose of strawberries, dark plums and cherries with a savoury edge. The palate is rich and sumpuous with smooth cherry and vibrant red berried fruit. It presents a beautifully lush mouthfeel complemented by fine tannins and soft acidity that provide structure and length. Pair with baked mushroom and paremesan.
