Woods Crampton Frances & Nicole Eden Valley Shiraz (6pk)
More about Woods Crampton Find a stockist Grape Variety: 100% Shiraz Summary: For a small winemaker, Woods Crampton has achieved a lot in a small amount of time. “The straight men of the Barossa new wave” Woods Crampton make contemporary and balanced wines, a world away from the fruit bombs of the past.. Vineyard: Sourced from the Blenkiron Vineyard, a truly pedigreed, low-yielding, sixty year old vineyard on its own rootstocks within the Eden Valley. Hand picked at less than two tonnes per acre. Winemaking: Made using Burgundian techniques and a “hands-off” philosophy. The fruit is hand-picked, given an overnight chill before a cold-soak for seven days at seven degrees. The fruit is primarily de-stemmed and allowed to reach ambient temperature before transferred to two-tonne fermenters with 25% whole bunches laid across the bottom. A very slow, cool ferment with the cap held down and hand plunging twice daily. At two grams the ferment was pressed in a very old, very gentle pneumatic press to a settling tank to finish fermentation. The fruit was racked to medium and large format french oak, about 50% new, and topped every six weeks but not racked or stirred for 18 months. The wine was not fined, given a coarse filtration and a dash of sulphur before bottling. 2017 Vintage: Winter and Spring of 2016 was much wetter than usual lifting the soil moisture levels for the region. December, January and February were all cooler than usual which prolonged the ripening period by 2-3 weeks. The slower ripening for the berries ensured a greater accumulation of complex character development that winemakers are often lauding in the better years. The fruit reached optimal flavour and Tasting Note: Rich, dark and brooding – riper than 2014 but still displaying a “cool climate” profile and whole bunch aromatics. The palate is beautifully balanced and effortless with a core of powerful blue berried fruit / ripe plums and exotic spice. The class of the wine is evident in the wine impressive length and finesse flowing to a bright and precisely detailed finish defined by fine silky tannins. This wine will unveil its true character over the next twenty years if carefully cellared. The below information is available for stockists of this product. One Good Turn Cabernet Sauvignon (6pk)
Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon Summary: One Good Turn are Climate Positive wines. Fruit has been sourced from vineyards choosing to use sustainable practices to achieve great quality while thinking about the environmental impact of modern agriculture and how it can best be harnessed to ensure we continue to give back to the planet. As the saying goes “One Good Turn” deserves another and so for every bottle purchased we will contribute to Carbon Click – a climate positive organisation that donates to worthy environmental causes that are close to our heart. Vineyards: Sourced from sustainable vineyards from around Australia. Winemaking: Fully de-stemmed before fermentation in a mix of open and closed tanks. The wine was primarily vinified without the influence of oak for maximum fruit expression before blending with a component aged in three and four year old French oak. Vintage 2021: If 2020 was all about the heat, then 2021 will be remembered as the wet season. In many parts of Australia, it was unseasonably wet in winter, but not at critical times to do damage nor impact the resultant ripeness of the grapes. A cool and dry summer meant even ripening was achieved between dry and rainy spells and the ensuing fruit quality was excellent and for once yields were up making for a bumper harvest in 2021. Tasting Note: A varietal Cabernet bursting with blackcurrant, a hint of eucalypt and some toasty oak. The palate is plush and generous with red fruits and hints of mocha before a long enjoyable finish that is aided by a soft tannin framework and lively acidity. Perfect with Moroccan lamb backstraps cooked on the barbecue. The below information is available for stockists of this product. Bottle Barcode: 9344154017639 Carton Barcode: 9344154017769

More about Farm Hand Find a stockist Grape Variety: Chardonnay
Region: Australia Winemaker: Con-Greg Grigoriou Closure: Cork Alcohol: 11% Summary: The Farm Hand wines are grown by the Grigoriou family, fourth generation wine growers, from almost one hundred acres of Organic Vineyards in the Monash Valley of South Australia.
Vineyards: The moderate, dry climate with very low rainfall during autumn and fertile soils is perfect suited to Organic Viticulture. Fuzzy Bare Fuzzy Bare Pinot Gris Piquette (6pk)
Region: Australia Grape Variety: Pinot Gris Winemaker: Aaron Mercer Alcohol: 4.0%
Summary: Organically grown, no additives, vegan and moderate in alcohol 'Fuzzy Bare' is the new kid on the block- fizzy, fun and ready to drink! Despite being the newest hottest kid on the block, piquette dates to ancient Greek and Roman times. It enjoyed a renaissance in the 19th century when phylloxera decimated French vineyards, making grapes so scarce every ounce of the precious fruit was used. Made from adding water to bare pressed grape skins and left to ferment, this low-alcohol, refreshing, and slightly fizzy drink Was named ‘piquette’ (prickle) and became the standard for vineyard workers at the lunch table. Winemaking: Made using the left over skins that have been pressed off from Slinky Bare and CowPunk wines. Water is added to the press where it is left for 12 hours to interact with the skins. The solution is then pressed to tank and the residual sugar fermented out to dryness Tasting Note: Aromatics of red berries and blood orange. The palate is loaded with fresh cut strawberries and sherbet that combine with a green apple acid line to make a beautifully refreshing naturally lower in alcohol beverage. Fuzzy Bare Fuzzy Bare Pinot Noir Piquette (6pk)
Region: Australia Grape Variety: Pinot Noir Winemaker: Aaron Mercer Alcohol: 4.0%
The solution is then pressed to tank and the residual sugar fermented out to dryness Tasting Note: Cherry cola aromatics, Cranberry and Mulberry fruit jump out of the glass. The palate is vibrant with rich raspberries and blackcurrants. There is a slight phenolic chalkiness that provides structure and a tight acidity carries the fruit for a long, crisp finish. A perfect thirst quenching light red that is naturally higher in refreshment and lower in alcohol! The below information is available for stockists of this product. The Bare Touch Buzzy Bare Shiraz (6pk)
Region: Australia Grape Variety: Shiraz Winemaker: Aaron Mercer Alcohol: 12.0% Summary: The Bare Touch wines are made by Cowpunk winemaker Aaron Mercer using early picked grapes, free run juice and a “hands off” non intervention approach. The grapes are naturally lower in alcohol and with far less skin contact than a traditional red wine, the free run juice is bright and vibrant with significantly lower tannins. The hands off winemaking approach allows the fruit to express itself fully whilst building complexity. The result is a range of fresh and elegant wines with a sleek, supple mouthfeel that are perfect to be served with a moderate chill or straight from the fridge. Winemaking: Early picked at flavour ripeness, ensuring naturally lower alcohol and fresh balanced acidity. Fruit is crushed, juice fermented on skins and pressed prior to sugar dryness with wine completing fermentation in stainless steel. Minimal handling ensures less tannin extraction, creating a soft, rounded finish with a fruit forward palate. Tasting Note: Bright red and purple hues, with lifted cherry and plum spice aromas. The palate is mid bodied in style, fleshy and rounded, finishing with a light freshness. The below information is available for stockists of this product. Bottle Barcode: Carton Barcode:
