Winemaking: Early picked at flavour ripeness, ensuring naturally lower alcohol and fresh balanced acidity. Fruit is crushed, juice fermented on skins and pressed prior to sugar dryness with wine completing fermentation in stainless steel. Minimal handling ensures less tannin extraction, creating a soft, rounded finish with a fruit forward palate.

Vintage 2022: 2022 will probably be remembered as wet in most parts of Australia. However, in inland vineyards the rain did not hinder, rather it helped vines stay healthy and created favourable conditions for a modest and favourable crop across much of the country. Overall quality was up but yields were down.

Tasting Note: Deliciously crunchy and bright, this 'nouveau' style Grenache was picked early to preserve natural acidity and to give its juicy, red-fruit driven palate. Made from South Australian grenache grapes, bottled young and recommended to be served with a chill. Light in colour and style, flavours of red plum and cherry with a soft acidity. When chilled, red fruit flavours are fresh and distinguished.
