Bento Grenache (6pk)
Region: McLaren Vale Grape Variety: Grenache Alcohol: 14.5% 6 Pack
Summary: Inspired by the fast-paced, flavour-packed world of Asian dining, Bento is designed for those lost wine occasions: the BYOs, the shared dishes, the street-food feasts, the noise, the heat, the spontaneity. Here to reclaim wine’s place at the modern dining table, Bento is designed for the energy and chaos of (real-life/casual) dining, delivering a range of vibrant, delicious wines that everyone will love. Winemaking: Harvested from select warmer pockets within Marlborough where Grenache can ripen fully, fruit is picked late in the season to develop intensity and natural sweetness. Fermentation occurs in small fermenters with a mix of whole berries and whole bunches to enhance aromatic lift and texture. Gentle maceration preserves delicate fruit characters while building a light tannin structure. Vintage 2025: The 2025 vintage was marked by an early start due to warm, dry conditions. Budburst and flowering occurred ahead of schedule, with even fruit set. Consistently warm weather produced smaller berries with outstanding concentration, defining the vintage’s quality. Tasting Note: A fragrant, lighter-styled Grenache showing lifted red florals, wild raspberries and hints of white pepper. The palate is juicy and fresh with soft red cherry, pomegranate, and subtle spice. Silky tannins and bright acidity deliver a graceful finish—vibrant, elegant and beautifully suited to Marlborough’s modern, cool-climate approach to red winemaking.
