Mania Pinot Noir 2019

"Tas-Mania. 2019 was a pretty good vintage there by most accounts, depending on level of smoke taint. This is a collaboration between Jim Chatto and Fourth Wave Wine.

It’s a little charry and reductive, as is often the style, with bright cherry flavour, and a bit of spice, vanilla and smoked paprika. It’s firm, cool and ‘mineral’ feel to the acidity, pushes through the mouth very nicely, and finishes with dry tannin and some savoury/earthy characters. It may be better with some more time in bottle."
