"Deep red colour with a good purple tint, and an aroma of very ripe, slightly stewed mulberry fruit. The palate texture is drying, savoury and almost chewy, the tannins a mite clunky. Very ripe and big, with a nerve of tangy acidity running through. The palate is firm and drying and the bright acidity helps to leave the mouth refreshed."
