Bright, juicy, straight-forward, strawberry and a little vanilla and liquorice, something a bit like chicory gives it a subtle but pleasant bitterness, tannin offers a light but sure grip, and it finishes with sweet fruit and a twist of Italianate savouriness and dried herb. Cheerful. And pretty good value."
