Maretti Langhe Rosso 2017

"A delicious, medium-weight red with a top-coat of red fruit and an authentic savoury thread, with cherries and stewed rhubarb alongside hints of leather, shitake and smoked meat. Papery tannins frame the palate, giving the structure excellent drink-now style though it qill also improve with a couple of years. It is an honest expression of its varietal composition. The palate lengthens the longer it is open, so give it some air and watch it evolve."
