Take it to the Grave Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

19th August 2020
Gentle fibrous tannin, fresh and jubilant... 91 Points

“To see a '19 cabernet in the market suggests that it has been made to an earlier drinking window. And so this has. A pulpy mid-weighted palate of gentle fibrous tannin, fresh and jubilant. Blackcurrant, sage and olive. A sash of reductive tension. The usual. But the winning note is the freshness and approachability of a wine from this, arguably the most stolid region in the country.”
