Little Giant Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

20th October 2020
Mod Cab Sauv made for drinking... 93 Points

"The Little Giant range are from the reliable Fourth Wave Wine and put together by winemakers are Corey Ryan and Jim Zerella. Celebrating South Australian regions, the bottles are a stocky, stout package representative of its label showing southern hairy-nose wombat, South Australia’s fauna emblem.

Deep cassis, older eucalypt foliage, black cherry, raw/new oak, tang of spearmint, touch of rosewater, ground mace and black olive on the withdraw. Slick, modern and fresh. Bright black fruits propelled with juicy energy and exuberance. Tannins aren’t formidable, yet still present to offer body and density as a fine base layer. Such a fun drink, you have to remind yourself it’s Coonawarra cabernet. Mod Cab Sauv made for drinking."
