Bare Winemakers Limestone Coast Pinot Noir 2020

20th November 2020
It's pretty good

"Righto. $16 Pinot Noir. 550 cases made. Made by Antoine Schurr, who I assume, is the son of Bernard Schurr, of Courtilles fame (among other things)... At the price you’re really after something in a light to medium-bodied frame, when you’re in the market for inexpensive Pinot, I guess. Red fruits, some mint and spice, a bit of sap, a lick of grainy tannin, and a slightly sweet strawberry and spice finish of moderate length. Could take a chill. It’s pretty good."
