Bare Winemakers McLaren Vale Shiraz 2020

16th December 2020
Good value and easy drinking... 90 Points

"From a couple of vineyards planted in the late 90s – Tatachilla and Seaview sub-regions. Raised in large old oak for three months. I didn’t much like the Bare Winemakers 2020 Chardonnay (Adelaide Hills), but this hits the mark. Blackberry, slight seaweed thing happening, some choc-vanila and spice. It’s just over medium-bodied, light grip, juicy but savoury and a little earthy, a smattering of dried herb and char, and a pretty decent finish. Good value and easy drinking, for sure."
