Hare and Tortoise Pinot Noir 2020

"$20 well spent. Clear varietal character. Excellent balance. The drinkability rating is high but it’s not thanks to sweetness; this is savoury and smoky (in a positive way) with even-tempered fruit and twiggy spice notes to finish. Undergrowth too, just a little. It’s light- to medium-weight, its alive with aroma and while it’s racy with acidity it has the texture to keep things soft and inviting. Buy/drink/recommended."
