"This polished, sure-footed release will keep most red wine lovers happy. It’s ripe and bold without being over the top; it’s fleshy and sweet-edged but it has good shape; it has notes of bay leaf and earth but a boysenberried juiciness keeps everything running smoothly and well. Balance here is impeccable. It’s good."
