Find one like this, stick to it... 90 Points

"The search for bargain pinot noir is never an easy one with this variety being particularly hard to handle. So when you find one like this, stick to it. Mid cherry in colour, this Yarra pinot is beautifully pitched for casual mid-week drinking with its upfront fruits and light weight plus just enough complexity to keep you coming back for more. There are pure red cherry aromas plus dried herbs and even a little undergrowth. The palate is then bright, fresh and supple with a leathery edge to the more red berry fruits plus silky smooth tannins. It’s a fun little wine which would suite a gentle chill when the mercury starts to rise."
