Woods Crampton Barossa Valley Shiraz 2015

20th March 2017
The flavour and texture of a full-bodied shiraz costing twice as much... 94 Points

5 days pre-ferment cold soak, open-fermented, hand-plunged, matured in oak (30% new) for 9 months. This is as richly fruited as it is savoury, with the flavour and texture of a full-bodied  shiraz costing twice as much.

The fruit quality is a given, the special quality coming from the perfectly judged, spicy tannins and oak that, despite their power, leave the aftertaste fresh and clear. 14% alc.

Rated: 94 Points
