"100% Villers Marmery Premier Cru. Bottled 2nd September 2015 and disgorged 23rd April 2019. 5g/l dosage. So good when you get information about what’s in the bottle on the back label. It means we can review ‘NV’ wines. Champagne is perhaps not the strongest arrow in my formidable quiver, though I endeavour to persevere. Importer: Fourth Wave Wine.

It has style and complexity. You’re getting some salted crackers, chamomile and hazelnut, set in a rich but fairly restrained Champagne. Distinct mineral feel, energy and fine persistent bubbles, a chalky texture, and a long clean dry finish, some lemon zest and the like in the aftertaste. Very good."
