Drake: Drake was created by a motley group of winemakers and sommeliers, born from a shared belief in creating thought-provoking wines of individual character and expression. 

2020 Vintage: 2020 had its challenges with a dry start and only a small por??on of rain and with much of the country suffering drought conditions. The warm dry spell continued in December with some extreme hot temperature days recorded. It was a late ripening year and yields were down but despite the challenges it was another excellent vintage across South Australia, and in Langhorne Creek.

Tasting Note: A satisfyingly dense and full-bodied Shiraz from Langhorne Creek that exhibits everything
we love about the variety. The palate shows vibrant berry fruits, underpinned by subtle oak in the background, before velvety tannins and bright acidity shape the finish. A beau??fully lush expression of Langhorne Creek Shiraz that is perfect for mid-term cellaring. It would partner well with a barbecued rib-eye steak with a mushroom sauce.
